    PDs slump at the Polls

A bit of tongue in cheek here if you dont mind!!! Just saw the results of the poll on another thread:-

    SF (-1) 9% thats a fall of 10%
    PD's (-1) 3% thats a fall of 25%
Some people in their negative little anti-SF worlds have no shame and will push out any ol' drivvel to suit their cause.

As for the poll itself, FF are the real winners. SF is disapointing but hardly 'a slump'. Some people think the effect of the SSIA's will also help carry FF further. I'm not so sure. I for one, think that alot of it is already spent and when the time comes for cashing in there won be a lot left after paying back the car loan etc, this will effect those who could not afford to save the max each month and I think it will play a negative effect. Question is how many people saved the max.

It's great - they've now been reduced to a margin of error party!!

Margin of error +/-3%, when you're polling 3%, has to be fairly worrying!

As long as the 'SF slump in the polls' remains a topic of discussion I think this should be up there with it

I wouldn't push that one, if I were you. Using the margin of error argument simply allows which PD you're 'bashing over the head' to point out that it's conceivable that Sinn Féin and the PDs are on the same level of support.

Hmmm...good point, didnt cop that either. Never the less the "Sinn Fein slump at the polls" topic title should be exposed for what it is - an anti - SF agenda.

At the end of the day the only Poll that counts is the Election Result, these little sample polls are meaningless.
