    New Opinion Poll

Just heard on RTE 1 news preview that there's more bad news for Government in a new opinion poll.

    FF - 25 (down 17)
    FG - 30 (up 3)
    Labour - 22 (up 12)
    SF - 7(no change)
    Greens - 5 (no change)

    Govt approval - 10%

I'm surprised no-one here had it.

    Any word?
Heard Ursula Halligan mentioning it, aparently its from the Irish Independent, so there are question marks over it, it will depend on the methodolgy which generally is lacking from these polls, but I will be interested to hear it.

1st man: Did you hear FF's popularity is -3%?

    2nd man: That's impossible!

1st man: It had an error margin of +/-3 %...

Isn't there a Red C one due this weekend as well?
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

    Oh probably, we're due a Red C...
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Cue the music. This might be apt:

And the English translation is even more apt for FF.
