Disgraceful. Get ready for an invasion of welfare-spongers.

Im getting ready as we speak. To protect oneself from welfare spongers, you need:
    A stout stick
    Toilet roll.
A pot (to complement said toilet roll)
    Bottled water.
    A personal alarm/whistle.
    Tinned goods.
If you dont have such goods, reopen your stash from the Y2K crisis. This immigrant crisis is much more likely, we assure you.
When said invasion occurs, stay close to a radio, as there will be instructions from our Government.
The Department of Socail welfare has been moved to a secure area 2 miles underground.
Voluntary bodies are being established to build trenches outside our main cities (except Limerick, no-one wants to go there anyway), and remember, keep your council. You dont know who is listening these days. Loose lips may inadvertantly give away crucial information to the enemy, such as to the location of our welfare offices, citizens advice bureaus and the recruitment centre for Irish ferries.

There sure to come to rape our generous welfare state, the generous welfare state of the most liberal country in the EU.

This immigrant tide has been threatned for a while now, but I'm sure it will come....I'm sure it will...

Oh, laugh now, meriwether. But you'll be sorry! Sorry, I tells ya!

    Meriwether's policy:

    His commuppance:

Appropriate response to nasty immigrant workers:
Heavy words are so lightly thrown.

How do you feel about Irish people sponging off social welfare, FT?
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

    Oh, Irony!!!
The Gov't -esp their PD idealogues - thought they would get a free ride on this one - bring in loadsa foreign workers, drive down local wages, threaten Paddy unless he kept his mouth shut and knuckled under, he's out the door, or Woichek is in!
All to keep the bosses (their paymasters) happy!
And best of all if the foreign fekkers can't find a job or lose their job, (gotta hire n fire at will, folks that's the free market), the fcekers get nothing from the Gov't - feck off now we don't need ya any more, (got a Filipino to do your job Woichek, at half what *you* were paid).
Now they are entitled to welfare.
Ultimately, we the taxpayers will pay for it, but for now it's a delish irony that the Govts 'get out of jail free' card has been marked.
    The best laid plans.......Ha!
And on another tack, surely it is unacceptable that a person can work here, pay taxes, PRSI, etc, and not be able to avail of the benefits of same, like any other person paying their dues....it's just basic human decency, a concept that somehow evades our rulers.
Now, if we get welfare tourism, they've only got themselves to blame.
Oh, and the voters will blame them too.
Brightened up my Monday morning no end! (Hmmm...no end - kinda like their incompetence).
