We just fed up of listening to his sanctimonious crap about how the Irish goverment should pay more to help the poor of the world. While he avoids paying that same tax to help those he bleats on about.
Time for the Irish Goverment to do the honorable thing and go. If thay have any honour left.

Well its the government that create these loopholes, not Bono or joe public. He is right to keep as much of his wealth.if the law says he can.The government are great at stiring up envy and hate, side tracking people from the real issues.
The government have proved again and again that they do not know how to use people's money productively. They spend it like there is no tomorrow.Yes banks are to blame ,but also government who regulated these banks,Government who allowed the ECB to lower interest rates below inflation.Did bono, the tailor, the grocer, spend 12 billion to much and put the Irish people and it's future generations in debt .No it was a bunch of economic chimps in government and cheered on by another bunch in opposition.

A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. Supply and demand are thrown out of gear - the overhead goes up; the effective use of human energy goes down; the standard of living is lowered because money cannot buy wealth that is not produced.

We're quite happy to encourage foreign investment (IFSC, Intel, Dell) here on the basis of a low corp tax rate, but when some of our own corp entities avail of the same elsewhere its 'wrong'... what a load of hypocracy..... and same voices are probably touting a Lisbon 'Yes'... for a free-market Europe!!! Fair play to them I say - at least the tax they now pay in Holland won't be squandered like it would be here

The Irish were shmucks to allow the likes of him to get away with paying nothing for too long. That is the thanks they get.

Cut out all this tax dodging by the capitalist class.

I'm begining to wonder why I am bothering but anyway.
Unfortunately I don't have the talent for songwriting so thats that. as for the PAYE thing - Choice is I suppose a way to describe it - need to earn money to live is another.
I'm not denying that tax dodgers exist if thats what you thought just that the wealthy ones seem to get away with more. I was attempting to have a reasonable discussion but obviously sarky comments are your forte and thats fair enough- maybe a career in comedy awaits you- good luck with that.
