Paddies Day has already started where I live, there was a big row about 3 hours ago, between lads who had been drinking all day. People videoing it on their phones. Troy McClure: "is this what we think of when we think of the Irish".

The truth hurts Joel, you should come out here and see for yourself. Chavtastic St Paddies weekend here, tracksuits everywhere, and not a football in sight, classy nation.

Get over yourself joel and stop being such a bully.

Blind patriotism and a refusal to face up to the realities of Paddy-whackery and chavtastic drunkenness gets the nation nowhere.

I am Irish, I am just sick of Chavs ruining my neighbourhood.

I have had some arrested, then I knocked one out, but they just seem to multiply.
I and they have destroyed our neighborhood. one of them even took a crap on the neighbours wall, then gave the neighbours abuse, just because they opened there curtains, and all their mates (including girls) were just laughing, thought think that is funny. It gives you an idea of where we are headingas a nation.

This is very true, it's not class-snobbery either to feel as you do. The victims of these feral teenagers are ordinary plebiscites who choose not behave in an anti-social way, some of whom are virtual prisoners in their own homes at various times of the day.

It makes me wonder if some kind of national service isn't the answer. The problem to me seems to be an utter lack of values of any kind.
