M50 bomb find - Continuity IRA suspected

A car carrying a bomb was apprehended at the M50 Westlink toll bridge last night. Gardaí have now said that they believe the Continuity IRA was involved. A 24 year old was arrested at the scene and a 56 year old was later arrested at Ronanstown.

This is so bloody fultile. Whoever that 24 year old was, he's facing into a long prison sentence - he'll get about ten years or so. Even if his bomb ended up going off at whatever target he had in mind, the unity of Ireland would be not an inch closer.

Of course, another few lads in prison will help the suffering trip that the Continuity IRA/RSF are on. After the defection of most of their prisoners last September, they need to build up their representation of lads "behind the wire". They can't let the INLA, CGRP etc steal the show.

    So bloody pointless!

Whoever this guy is, he's about 40 years younger than your average member of the Republican Geriatrics Association/CIRA

It was an anti drug operation... Not really anything to do with the national question.
The day will dawn when all the people of Ireland will have the desire for freedom to show.

    An anti-drug operation???

With a bomb? not exactly a surgical strike.

24, eh? From photos of him posted here, that's around the same age as Risteard. Which reminds me, anyone seen him on the board today :

"We will criminalise ourselves , rob ourselves of our true identity, steal our own individualism, we will indoctrinate ourselves, churn ourselves out as systemised terrorists, used by others higher up. Never will anyone label our terrorism struggle as anything other than criminal."
