Dunphy, Harris, Waters .. Round 2 .. Late late Show Link - 9/02/09

    Hiya Guys,

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN IT ( Like me, just watched it today )

I saw another thread on this topic was closed due to vitriolic comment. I still think it is well worth a look though. The RTE site have recently popped it up online here, this is the appropriate section rather than the whole show:

RTÉ.ie Media Player: The Late Late Show 6 February 2009

If for any reason it doesnt open go here, one step back:

RTÉ Television - The Late Late Show

Scroll down and click on the PANEL DISCUSSION Link.

Its about 36 minutes long ...

AND PLEASE .. Any comments, can we have them on topic AND Also can we keep away from pages of one or two guys going off topic and just attacking each other to the exclusion of the rest of us .. Thank you in advance!

    Aidan

I saw the tail end off it and while I normally defend Harris when he lays it on the line on this occasion he is very wrong about Biffo... very very wrong.

thanks for that aidan. was meaning to get around to watching it so the links appreciated.

far more sombre affair than last time though harris is at least now admiting he's playing the FF faithful now he's a senator unlike last time.

incidently cowan let it slip on marion that he knew the speach was being recorded which lends credence to eamonns claim of us being "spun".

Notice the uproarious laughter when Harris was extolling Cowen as the best leader available at the moment. Fool me once I guess.
Have to laugh at Plank asking the Panel to "give us some hope" - whats he on again, a million yoyos a year..

They should chop his salary. The guy is useless and getting big bucks for it too. Horrible and nasty as evidenced by his land grabbing escapades.

I am not telling you. You have to learn to love the pain.

Take it from me though, it was beautiful.

Only sensible thing said by any of them was that a proper independent investigation should be carried out into all of the Anglo Irish Operation.

Anglo is the keystone to the whole mess
