Thay won't be be rewarded, except by some tax payers money maybe. Since this sit in by the workers, the course of action that prompted it suggested that no one would be keeping their job. With the Waterford Crystal Unions past reputation no one was going to take them onboard, especially in the current economic climate.

The hope is that some manufacturing jobs can be kept in Waterford. Personally, I don't believe the brand is transferable. If a manufacturing base can be kept, there is a possibility that the brand can be expanded in the future. An example is Harley Davidson where a basket case company was revived, there is hope.

If you think that's militant action, wait until you see how FF will be exterminated in Waterford at future elections if Waterford Crystal goes to the wall. The last Local Elections were a massacre for FF in Waterford and I think that only on FF member was elected to the Waterford City Council.
