    Why is Nobody Protesting?

Sitting back in one's arm-chair with the newspaper and giggling away with a cup of tea seems to be Ireland's favourite past-time.

Are we so immune to corruption and brass-neckness, that politics has been reduced to a joke and active citizenship is a waste of time?

Maybe we've become far too comfortable with our carvery lunches, comfortable cars and endless entertainment.

Joe Higgins on Vincent Brown this evening basically called on the people to come out and voice their anger. Because if we don't, they'll do it again and again and sn.igger privately about what they've gotten away with.

Surely to God people will be demonstrating their anger outside Leinster House tomorrow? I'll be there during an extended lunchtime to let these bastards know I'm not happy.
