And when can we expect the results?
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

The results will be Sun 25th Jan in SBP, the polling before that.

It has been a very long time since the last REDC pole in the SBP, the last one was on the second last Sunday in November.

Therefore it will be most interesting to see how much (if any) ground FF regain.

I am working on the assumption that FF will gradually regain ground as people adjust to the new economic reality and regress to their old voting habits.

Dangerous assumption, I hope FF aren't making the same mistake. The poll will come just after the effect of the 1% levy is reflected in people's wage packets. I suspect that that could lead to even more anti-FF feeling.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

I think people will have have internalised that in anticipation some time before the survey. Also the Dell jobcut announcement will have been internalised by then. I believe that people will revert to FF when they internalise the new gloomier economic scenario - when they are over the shock of it - and they return to their old loyalties. FG will gradually fall back to a more normal position for them .
