Man U failures: Keane blames team-mates......again!

    http://www.breakingnews.ie/2005/11/01/story228112.html

    Surprise surprise surprise.....
United are going down the tubes so Keano (the Albert Reynolds or Micheal Martin of the sporting world) reverts to form and blames everyone except himself.

A mad rant against his fellow players has been pulled from MUTV, allegedly at the behest of Ferguson - who has also never been shy to criticise the players and not himself (he famously threatened to throw open the dressing room doors to allow angry fans to vent their fury after the drubbing in a Manchester derby a while back)

More evidence of Keane's ego, and that the Saipan fiasco (where he pointed fingers at McCarthy, the FAI, the players, and Uncle Tom Cobley) was not a principled decision, but rather an ego-driven act of treasonous desertion in the team's hour of need.

The sleepy world of sports journalism is very quick to praise both Keane and Ferguson for Man United's 10 years of success, but will not open its mouth against them when things go wrong.
Similarly with regard to the problems of the Irish team. We were all given the "Keane got us into the World Cup" treatment the last time.

So when things go right, Keane and Ferguson are the reason for it.
But when things go horrible wrong, the young players are scapegoated.

Did these guys take lessons from FF and the PDs?!

If this is the case then why does Ferguson never give interviews to the BBC?

Er....who exactly should be blamed for failures on the pitch? These guys are being paid 100k a week so when they do not perform they must accept criticism.

Grossly overpaid players without ability, commitment and passion.

Who signed these awful players? Who's been asking the Board to sign the cheques?

First thing Roy Keane's injured so you can blame him for Man Utd defeat against Middlesborough. Second thing that's the way Keane always been, that's why he's been such a great captain. You know when Man Utd aren't playing well he will go out and make the hard statements. It's helped inspire the team before and hopefully it will again. Also Roy Keane has criticized himself a hell of a lot over the years and in has never started going on about how great it was.

Ferguson should be blamed as should all mangers when they're teams are doing ************************, it's his job to motivate the players though which is what he trying to do. However you can't expect Ferguson to come out and say Man Utd poor form is all his fault.

To the best of my knowledge Mr. Ferguison actually achieved with smaller clubs whereas Mr. Keane has only ever won anything when his employers were the richest in the league. Prior to his employment by the richest team he featured on a relegated team - which relegation was not his fault either.

Whereas Mr. Ferguson has shown success when not backed by Money mr. Keane has not hence any comments from him about success have to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

I would hope you are taking the piss. I am not Keane's biggest fan, not by a long shot, but to say he was useless before he went to Man united and then made into a star is utter rubbish. When he signed for Manchester United in 1993 he was the most expensive player in England at £3.75 million

Man United success with him as Captain and what all the Man United players say about him, speaks for itself Barry.
