    Robinsons cheek

my pacemaker went into overdrive watching the news on RTE last night.

Watching the section on the purveyors of victimhood whining about having to deal with a recession and EA head Nigel Crawley quitting due to a paranoid perceived slight committed upon him by D.Ahern

anyways, I was thinking could Nigel Crawley not take a personal pay cut and stay on the tiller, but no......so then - theres commitment for you!

who was next up? that fake Robinson - our ex president - there she was loitering in Trinity, waffling on about what a disgrace it is that the EA was subject to cutbacks.

Well, last I checked Miss Falseface Robinson was pulling down a €150,000 euro pension at Irish Taxpayers expense

now she has a well paid job with the UN. Should she not offer up her €150,000 undeserved pension or would she rather whine on RTE about our callousness?

Give back your pension you false whinebag

Just wait a few weeks until Mary Harney gets her snout into the pensions trough, she'll show us how a PD milks the system. What we've seen todate is mere chickenfeed compared to what Harney will suck out of us. And there won't be a blush to be seen.

stay on topic. Are you defending Robinsons €150,000 pension? YES or NO

(btw, yes Harney may be a Pig but you can discuss that elsewhere)

No, but do be honest. Why isolate her when others are merrily doing the same thing. Let us condemn all those that are taking excessive pensions from the State.

Look, she was on pontificating trying to make sorry ass taxpayers like me feel bad about Nigels woes

Yet she trots around the globe pretending to us that shes important - Nobody that matters listens to her

Leaders lead - €150000 is alot of money €3000 a week net! If she had even an ounce of the moral fibre she pretends to possess she would return her pension - that would set a standard - but no, thus I call her Ms. FalseFace

    Are you Pee Flynn'd grandchild?
Mary Robinson whipped FF's ass in a brilliant campaign and made the role of President relevant in spite of the open hostility of CJH's government.
She also had the balls to change the staff at the Aras, in spite of the bad publicity, in order to make sure things were done her way. Her subsequent international career is marked by dedication and achievement.
Above all, her appointment to Nelson Mandela's Council of Elders is bulletproof recognition of her career of service that not even a cretin like you can attack.

As regards her pension, she still gives this state better value for money than the highest paid government in the western world led by Coc the clowen from Clara.

As regards Niall Crowley, Dermot Ahern and the Equality Agency - Yes, Crowley could have taken a 10% paycut and presided over the destruction of the agency which had to take a 43% budget cut.
No doubt you would approve of the fact that in so doing his salary would have risen from about 4% of agency total costs to about 6.3% of total costs.
And he could also have implemented the lunatic decentralisation to Roscrea where he could have played cards all day with the 15 totally inexperienced new staff.
There are times when you are simply required to be impolite. There are times when condescension is called for!
    - Aaron Sorkin writing as President Bartlet to Obama, NYT 21/09/2008

You can't build a smart economy based on dumb decisions.

State funded pensions should have a ceiling of the average industrial wage.

if they earn ridiculously more like politicans ,judges, and ESB types they can set up a PRSA and slap it in that.

its MADNESS to be giving albert ,bertie , bruton and co 100 grand a year when many of em STILL have a fecking wage coming in !

at the very least dont let the feckers claim it till theyve actually retired ! i.e post 65yrs of age.
