    good but strange mews, thought he would have gotten immunity, surely if it gets to him doing jail time, he will trell even more tales

    There is no provision in our justice system for the granting of immunity or plea bargaining. In fact the Supreme Court indicated it was completely unacceptable.

    The Gardai may indicate to the DPP that the individual cooperated but that is all. He may take this into account in considering whether to charge or not or what to charge the individual with but thats all.
