Ah so now I see what the payback is for the hospitality the Chinese offer Enterprise Ireland...they get them to send all our manufacturing companies over to them...is this what they mean by exporting to China, exporting jobs more like.

I still fail to see, if the Chinese rob us of all our manufacturing jobs, how we benefit?

Anyways you can never ever trust FF to put the national interest ahead of the interests of their rich friends, haven't we learned anything from the last decade?

We still benefit from the export, it just means that the manufacturing function is outsourced. It's not an ideal situation, hopefully manufacturing costs here will come down now once the property madness is over.

There are many many companies on that trip who aren't mentioned on this thread. None of the companies selling direct to the Chinese in China have been mentioned. It's quite funny that no one else has noticed yet that Timoney are on the trip. It looks like we're now selling military equipment to the Chinese. Or at least trying too.

Timoney were not listed by me because:

(a) they paid their own way
(b) they could sell their technology without the help of Cowan or E.I.

and you should be careful of what you say about them because they are not selling military tech in China, they have licensed their wheel drive systems - non mil.
