At what stage do we enter a depression ?

So we are already in a recession,
We have just had the budget from hell,
    So whats next, a depression?

At what stage does a country enter a depression and could we be heading for one?

With me it's usually after about 10 pints, or if Palace lose more than 3 games in a row or go 10 without a win.

We are in it already, the symptoms will manifest over the coming weeks and months.

Likewise for me it's every time I look in the mirror and think, why is my hair so fuzzy? I hate the fuzz.
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

That wasn't a budget from hell. That was a half-arsed, pantywaist budget devised on the inside of a ciggie box after a feed of pints in the bar of a small hotel in Dublin 2.

Why wasn't the public service question tackled? Car parking taxes, bicycle riding allowances, punishing the elderly, taxing the poor? That budget was not the work of sober people.

We may well be heading for a depression. And it's our own fault.
