ICE arrests more than 1,700 during largest ever nationwide gang surge

"October 2, 2008 – ICE arrested 1,759 gang members, associates, criminals and immigration violators in a four-month Operation Community Shield operation that targeted violent street gangs and criminal associates in 53 cities across 28 states. Of those arrested, nearly 1,500 were gang members, associates or those otherwise criminally charged. Operation Community Shield uses immigration and customs authorities to target transnational violent street gangs"

Could you enlighten us (particularly in the thread title) where it is you are talking about?
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.
