It's little wonder the Americans are still hated in Korea. I've been there and seen the demonstrations.
Why are you incapable of dealing with a discussion directly? Instead of dragging it off at a tangent?

Incidently, who attacked who? I'll just take the non addressing of my posts as just yet another acknowledgement of your lying decietful ways.

I've been to South Korea too... Its very American.

    Muscailte is right.

I'll post a few videos to show what a great place North Korea is, and just how lucky they have been to escape inclusion in the evil American Empire.
That a very backwards and naive attitude

First of all you are making the mistake the US actually gives a damn about the Korean people.

But the failure of North Korea as a workers' state was never a sure thing. Before US interference the majority of koreans welcomed the revolution and "communism". And they weren't idiotic to do so. Actually if you go back to the the 60s North Koreas planned economy ensured those in the north had a higher standard of living than in the south. It has become deformed over the last 20 years however .It was in the nature of US imperialism to prop up the South and invest there. If it wasn't they would just leave it to rot like they do with most of the world.

I'd say it was a sure thing.

It failed, just as every other Communist state has failed, unless like China it adopts aspects of capitalism.

Hindsight is a great thing, but with the benefit of it you can safely say they were idiotic. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and all that.

You obviously know nothing about the Korean War, so I will not bother arguing with you.

Was it not the US who prevented democratic elections taking place in the south because they knew the people would vote for unification?

You're going to have to be a bit more specific...
