your retirement fund is fine, as long as you don't need to encash it for the next 10 years!

Hey,
I don't know in minutae what's going on globally,
but with the instability of the dollar right now,
is it likely there will be a decoupling of the dollar from oil stocks (crude & light sweet crude)?

Has the petro-dollar had its day?

<edit>

by petro-dollar I mean
the united states dollar as the world's dominant reserve currency and as the currency in which oil is priced.

Every bailout makes it more likely, and there's more to come, so yes.
