Anything. Just not this. Anticoalition is an ideal. Good Government should be an f***in entitlement
And you think a Government with idiots like Phil Hogan and Joanna Tufty as Ministers would be a Good Government?

Are you of your f**king trolley?
I didn't mention them, you did. So go figure... Maybe try and broaden your range of possibilities a little, and you won't need to be so abusive...

In fairness though, the possibilities aren't all that broad, are they? I'm not saying I like the current line-up very much, but...

My credibility is not the central issue here.
You keep coming out with borderline bonkers assertions and deductions, so your credibility is very important if you want people to assume there might be something in your posts worth engaging with.

The Global Banking System is totally busted. The Banks don't trust each other, and will not lend to each other. This has caused the drying up of Credit right across the world - in the USA, in Russia, in Germany, in Spain, and most of all, in the UK (which is bankrupt).

Yet you try and persuade us that this isn't the cause of the Irish recession?

    Are you nuts or what?

This is about the Green Party, and the credibility gap that exists between their policy and their practice.
There is no credibility gap between Green Policy and the work the Ministers are achieving in Government.

Where did you read that funding was pulled? My reading was that the scheme was awaiting approval.

Anyway, if you think that we can build our way out of the flooding problem with more and more defences then I'm glad you're not in charge of the country.

One thing we learned during the hustings for the last Election is that there is no credible alternative to Fianna Fail as the lead Party in a Government.

There are maybe three Fine Gael TDs who are capable of being Ministers: Richard Bruton, Olivia Mitchell and Dr James O'Reilly. Labour only has one: Pat Rabbitte.

Even with Dan Boyle at Finance, Trevor Sargent at Agriculture, and John and Eamon where they are, where are you going to find the rest of the Cabinet?

Bad and all as the FFailures are, at least they know how to Govern. The alternative is too horrible to even contemplate

Ah now, you're definitely being too kind to FF there. You've named 8 people there who would make a good cabinet, along with Eamon Gilmore, although I personally don't rate Olivia Mitchell.

Hey Greenies. Remember this thread? Here we are just over a month later, and the economy has collapsed, and the coalition is following suit. The Budget was supported for a full week, before the Greens said anything against it. Then, when they saw the level of opposition, they began trying to distance themselves. Shameless opportunism, and lack of conscience. You have shown your true colours now, and they are not Green.
