Thats the crux of it. Mass immigration is God's gift to big business/wealthy people and unravels the interests of the existing working class. AAA, our new class warrior, while his heart is in the right place, just lends himself as a useful idiot for the aforesaid big business/wealthy people. Also those claiming the working class vote against Lisbon was not a vote against mass immigration are either lying or stupid or both.

I have no wish to read your cold war propaganda. I have read it all before. The problem with people like you is you don't even know what communism is. You are unable to distinguish it from Stalinism. You rant on about victims of "communism" from your moral high ground yet it was always the real communists and genuine socialists who ended up in Stalin's gulags. Actually the facts are on my side. By allowing the bosses to exploit immigrants it drives down wages for all. Therefore immigrants workers must be defended. I don't support the collapse of borders at this point, the world is not ready yet and it never will be under capitalism. But I will always defend the foreign workers already here. The way you go on you'd swear I was sending out leaflets all over the world encouraging mass immigration.

But you have to understand the hypocracy of the "free" market. It means capital can be transfered anywhere but labour cannot. As a result all capital eventually flows back to the western world and the bosses and corporations while the exploited in the 3rd world are not allowed follow the capital and wealth after it has been removed from their countries.

I am 35 years old.

I had a decent enough job that paid enough with top ups from family income support, I took around €800 per week home after deductions.

I lost my job two years ago, the company decided to pack up and move abroad. Since I have tried and tried to find a job but with no success.

My unemployment benefits pay out nearly €450.00 per week so I am €350 per week down,I have had to with MABS help renegotiate with my financial institutions on reduced payments, I have had to return a credit, all something that reduces your self confidence to zero.

For the first year I tried to get back into a similar position that I had been doing. I would attend interviews and do really well but never hear anything back.
During the second year I decided to try and go back to University under a mature students scheme, I applied through the CAO and directly to the college through an access course. Again I never heard anything through the CAO but I did have an interview for the access course. Whilst at my interview we were required to fill out a paper exercise, along with myself in the room there was a guy from Portugal, a girl from Italy A Polish lad aswell as other Irish.

A month ago I received a letter from the University telling I hadnt got through. Of course I started wondering had the Polish, Portugese or Italian people got in ahead of me? Of course I dont know but you start to ask yourself if they did why is my country turning me away from further education and yet excepting people from other nations? What add fuels to the fire is when I attended the open evenings for the acsess course you would hear the tutor tell you that as acsess courses are government funded they are open to all people from all areas. They once had a 89 year old doing a degree course after his succsesful completion of an access course. A 89 year old? Why are the government allowing funds which should go to heping Irish people of working age to be wasted on people who could even be dead before they complete the course and give no benefit to society should they complete the course!

Whilst waiting throughout the second year and since my failed acceptance to the university I tried to apply to do several FAS courses. Most of the courses were not suitable for me as a lot of them include qualifications I am well over qualified in. For instance I do not need to learn how top operate microsoft word when I used the programme in my previous employment as well as on my home PC. Other courses I have applied for and been turned down, the reason? Oversubscription. I did manage to attend 1 course which was a 4 week course on first aid. I beleived this may add something to my CV, What I found at the course were a host of non nationals. In a total of 12 people 8 were non national with 4 being Irish. Again you wonder if the non nationals are the ones who are taking the places for FAS courses with a reduced limited amount left for Irish people. I even got speaken to a few of the people in their who said they only do such courses for the extra money it pays.

So where am I now?

Two years on I am unemployed.
I have tried to find work without no success.
I have Tried to do Fas Course with only 1 course offered in 1 year.
I have tried to re educate myself and attend further education only to be turned down.
And all around me I see more and more people becoming unemployed which adds more people to the pot of those seeking the few jobs that our left, more and more people applying to the few Fas courses which are applicable, and more and more people apply for further education next year reducing still the chances of getting in.

And then i see headlines that 90% of jobs are going to immigrants, how more and more come to the country everyday.

I never considered myself racist, but in all honesty if I could kick these people out of the country tommorow I would. I honestly beleive that the circumstances that I am in and so are many others do turn people against immigrants and to what some may call Racist.

I dont care if people are black, white or pink, I dont care if people are Polish, Italian Or German, what I do care is that within two years of being unemployed I am aat rock bottom, I have few skills, and yet I cant even get further education, I have no future and yet Immigrants come her and take a job that for some reason I cant get. I have applied for everything, I go through the FAS website everyday, I go through Irish Jobs every day.

And what annoys me is when people say get of your fat lazy arse there are loads of jobs out there, well I agree there is. however these jobs arent for the Irish anymore.

Its so depressing being unepmloyed, having to count every penny, Hoping that the government dont reduce the christmas bonus this year so that you can giver your kids something nice.

So yes when I see a foreign person giving me ************************ service in a shop, Or I have to talk to a foreign person to explain to them why my ESB bill is going to be paid late I do start to recent them being in our country.

I didnt want to post this on here, even under a username its hard to tell people that you are in the situation that you are in. Its hard to admit you have little future. But reading some of the comments on here, you ask yourself are people even in touch with reality? Go to any dole office and have a look around, speak to people, I am not alone in the situation, Just open your eyes.
