Isin't it amazing that the dopers from this country are the likes of Michelle Smith from Ratchcoole, K O'Connor from (name any rich horse breeder and he is related in some way), and then another today from the same social backround as o'connor and their the guilty parties.

But its not M Carruth from Drimnagh, Sutherland from Blanchardstown or Egan for example from Neilstown.

Paul Donnelly will get more votes than McGuinness. Fair play on your positivity towards the chap but he hasn`t a hope.

    Even Coppinger will beat him.

Michelle Smith was not found as a doper - she was done for interfering with a sample.

In all seriousness though, the drugs laws in showjumping seem a little daft. These aren't humans here, if a Horse is in pain and kicks wildly, someone could get hurt. We have the best horses in the world, why would we need to drug them to improve their performances? I know you have to be vigilant, but some common sense should be exercised too.

They would have more experience with drugs and at evading the law.

The flip side of that is when middle class people die of drugs overdoses, the media treat it as the worst tragedy in the history of the world, but when they are working class the attitude is 'serves the fecking junkies right.'
