They all rode Olympics cheats.

It's alleged she did a Rio Ferdinand on it and avoided out of competition testing until the FINA testers doorstepped her in January 1998.
Didn't Diarmuid Gavin try that last year - I think it was a load of cack - riding bareback doesn't automatically convey the ability to showjump. You're right in pointing to a pool of possible talent that is being ignored though.Originally Posted by Utopian Hermit Monk

I would have thought the answer was:- "They all drugged their horses."Originally Posted by popper

Why is it silly to assume that the rider doesn't have 24/7 access to the Horses activities? That he is not visually observing the horse and accounting 100% for it's food and water 24 hours a day seven days a week? Sounds like a given to me....Originally Posted by Brian Reynolds

With the amount of doping issues arising in the equestrian events it is likely either a miscommunication issue surrounding veterinarian care and what treatments are allowed, cheating, or deliberate doping of rivals to get them disqualified.
I find it hard to believe Irish showjumpers would be stupid enough to deliberately dope (to performance enhance) after Athens. We have form in showjumping, we shouldn't need it - for a start.
