Euro about to fall below psychological barrier?

It's hovering very close to $1.50, making the dollar worth more than 2/3 euro.
It's been falling slowly but surely all day.

It's good news for my daughters, as their uncle in New York will be able to send them better christmas presents.

Good news for European exporters of price-sensitive products and services.

Wonder how long it will last though - there seems to be a bit of mid-summer profit-taking going on all around the financial markets at the moment - so you never know if this is just a blip.

Then again with Europe's economy slowing - the Euro was due to come down a bit.

Still have no idea what the title of this thread is about - unless its trying to keep in with the current fashion accompanying the mutation of Politics.ie into Eurobasher.ie
