Here's what will happen. He will be sent to the states, probably get the full whack, ten years, and after it has cooled down, the pentagon will probably offer him a job reviewing the security of their databases. Someone who can hack their systems is too valuable to them to be sitting in jail. He will not be in prison for ten years or anything near it. Two MAX!

He just rang up and asked for passwords. As far the "rendering unusable", that's because a compromised computer can't be used in their network legally. If anything he helped them, embarrassed they need do something radical.

Why doesn’t Gary McKinnon get the boat from Hollyhead to here? He could claim asylum and be protected under our constitution?
How does that work ? is it similar to how neutrality is protected in Shannon due to our constitution ?Originally Posted by Daithi37

For a smart guy he was an aweful fool.... UFOs? A pitty he is going to go to jail, but I suppose if they make an exception for him every script monkey on the web would see it as a green light for anarchy.
This shows the corruptness of the US military-industrial complex.Originally Posted by Thac0man
