I've had a brief look at the site and it appears, at first glance, to be pretty good. I'd echo Vietato in saying that it's a good idea and much needed.

I’d just like to point out that in the section on "I need help to make a planning application" there appears to be a small but important omission.
Step 7 should make reference to the fact that the location of the site notice must be clearly marked on the site location map. It is also good practice, but not mandatory, to indicate the location of the site notice on the 1:500 site layout plan.

Thanks for that. The whole idea of the site is to take input from as many people as possible, so that the info provided is as comprehensive and accurate as possible.

No problem. Good luck with the site. There are some interesting questions posed on the forum. I'll give the exempted development one a bash later....

    Excellent site.
We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when creating them
