    IFA Elections

The race to succeed John Dillon as head of the IFA is about to begin in earnest with some candidates officially launching their campaigns this week.

Ruaidhri Deasy,is a candidate for the presidency, along with Raymond O’Malley current vice president, and Padraig Walshe current treasurer. I dont know if there are any others

Any thoughts as to how it will turn out. Rumours have it that O'Malley is the early favourite.

I'm not a farmer, but I'm rooting for Deasy.

Padraig Walshe is not held in high regard by relatives of mine who have a say in this
