Ah right good old ThacOman. Gets himself caught out (again) and thats the best he can do.

And the isssue hasnt strayed onto the issue of certain peoples right (or lack thereof) to represent others who we not affiliated with them as you suggest. The issue is about the use of this gas by British forces against internees and innocent cilivians. Your lack of concern howwever is unsurprising considering your lack of concern for state sponsored murder and torture in other countries around the world

No it is not. The reason I would not sign are two fold. The initial reason I gave: I do not think the sacrafices of some should be used for political ends even though there exists association. I believe this because truely honouring the sacrafice of those who took up arms, suffered and fell would be best served by first seeking formal and wider recognition for them as soldiers. As things are, those 'volunteers' remain in the shade, only to be dragged out and rained on by crocodile tears, then put away again until they are needed.

Seondly, and this issue that has come to light as this thread unfolded, is that some people are trying to use innocent victims of internment, with no militant republican connection, to blend militants into the picture of innocence. Hence use not only those who had militant connection, but those also whom they have no right to represent, then or now. These people suffered at the hands of the British government, but northern republicans have no right to abuse their suffering for their own political ends. It is opportunism that does not stand up to scrutiny.

What are you on man? What has that to do with the British Government using CS gas against internees and other innocent civilians?

    Your evidence of that?

Who specifically do you classify as Northern Republicans? What individuals feel they are being abused by anyone here? And what are these "own political ends" you refer to?

ThacOman, instead of runnig away from a debate perhaps you could actually answer what you are asked.
