Taoiseach Cowan-''treaty is about "trying to secure jobs''

The Taoiseach stated in an interview with the Irish Independent today the following...

.....''he called on voters to "enthusiastically vote 'Yes'" as the treaty is about "trying to secure jobs".

I cant find the section in the Lisbon treaty which says its about ''trying to secure jobs''.Can anyone on the YES side point to the reference?

And who are the jobs for? ...according to the CSO today, 90% of all new jobs created in the past year went to Non Nationals.

Net gains by Irish Nationals numbered 5,4000 over the year or 10%. All the increase in unemployment was suffered by men.(Irish Times business section 6 June 2008)

Give the above facts from the CSO and the Taoiseachs statement does this weaken or strengthen the case for passing the Lisbon Treaty?

More residents to create demand for FF house builders
Fianna Fail will allow the Irish People, to me milked like Milch Cows, by the CIF through high house prices, rents, and land prices, at the expense of competitiveness, and quality of life. FF+CIF=1

That Cowan said that implies that without the passage of the treaty, jobs may be at risk. Unfortunately for that argument, it is clear that job protection is dealt with already in national legislation. Ergo, he's just pushing scare tactics.

I bet if he loses this referendum he'll order another one until we get it right. Talk about one fat whore who knows which side his bread is buttered.

And a lot of old jobs are getting crappier by the year as we face pay cuts in real terms. Open borders have been great for employers. But a lot of the rest of us have had our economic progress stopped in its tracks.

To secure jobs....for politicians in Brussels.

In places like the Berlaymont building below, the HQ of the Commission. Enough hot-air is generated here to power the entire continent. Aha now I see how Lisbon deals with global-warming.
