So the sessence of it is that the Presidents advisers put toghther a DVD of the coverage. Perfectly normal and one wouod in fact be surprised if they didn't
On the Thursday AFTER the disaster.

How this could be—how the president of the United States could have even less "situational awareness," as they say in the military, than the average American about the worst natural disaster in a century—is one of the more perplexing and troubling chapters in a story that, despite moments of heroism and acts of great generosity, ranks as a national disgrace
By thursday, Al Gore had already hired two Airplanes (@ $50K a pop!), and been in and out of NO twice evacuating hundreds of patients to hospitals in Tennessee.

Do you still believe your ridiculous claims about the National Guard posted in the other thread?

There's no pms from you in my inbox, and the fact that FEMA prevented the Red Cross, rescue teams and aid convoys from entering the City is just that, a fact.

The National Guard Units didn't deploy into the City until the Friday (IIRC), just after Bush made his appearance. This was, by all accounts, as a result of a FEMA policy.

If you've got other information, please share.
