Time for the Irish Goverment to do the honorable thing and go. If thay have any honour left.
I think this is a decent investment. Conflict resolution is something which will be needed as long as there are people, communities and states in conflict with each other. Fair play to the Demort Ahern.

Some people see things as they are and ask why? I dream things that never were and ask why not?

I see no negative comments. This could be a good PR win for the FF party!!!!
Come on lads, get it on air with some like bishop Desmond Tutu opening it up.

Conflict Resolution????? This is just another show that FF believe they have solved the problems of conflict in the North. It's shameful given the circumstances. I like concept but can they please ensure the North peace process is completed first before patting themselves on the back in a grand style like BA did in Washington. How many schools would €25m build? How many surplus HSE staff could that pay off in redundancy? There is a lot of good that €25m could perform here at home, afterall, that's where charity begins, no?
Don't worry, the think tank base in the foreign office. Its a quango, jobs for the boys, don't panic!

what happens if there is a conflict about how the money should be spent?

Out of that 25 million euro budget they obviously set aside about fifty quid to build the website.
i'd say they spent 20 quid on that....Originally Posted by unaligned
