24% of all Foreign Workers are from Africa

Well that is if you correlate the value of transactions through the Post Office for money sent abroad.

It appears that since 2000 the volume of these transactions has increased by 600%. Most of the growth has been fueled by foreign workers sending back money to their families.

    42% was to European Countries.

    23% to Asian Countries

    24% to African Countries

and the rest to North and South America.

Anyone else think what I'm thinking?

Yes, Africans must emigrate to find jobs.

Unless you're thinking that you're stupid, then I doubt it.

Why would you assume that the amount of money sent abroad through the post (have you any link for this, by the way?) correlates with the number of foreign workers in the country by region of origin?

So your thread title is a lie, then? Or are you being clever and coy to try and make a point?

Why not just explain what your interpretation of the figures is? What 'point' do you think you're making?

No, it doesn't. It would only make you think that if you believed that there should be some correlation between the number of foreign workers by region, and the countries that money is sent to through the Post Office. Why do you think this should be the case?

Also, there's a part of that article you obviously missed. Perhaps you should go back and read it again.

To be fair now, maybe the smiff is right. Perhaps there is another explanation for the volume of cash winging its way to Africa, there is a possibility - if I may be so bold as to suggest - whites sending thier remittances for 'goods' delivered.

Did I not read an article in the Trib some time ago about the Drug Squad mentioning sub-Saharan dealers and mules.......maybe I was mistaken...perhaps its my monoracist (as opposed to multiracist) suspicious mind.

Going to bother answering the question on this thread, or are you just going to stick to your usual strategy of ignoring it?
