So, every family got a sum once every 2 months (if there was 8 in the group). This was done to cut down on fees that would have to be paid if an individual worker transferred money every week.

Actually, I dont know why im posting this, but there you go.
It's interesting Where were these people from?

Poles and Africans. I have never seen anyone work as hard as the Poles. The money transferring method is genius, I have to admit.

    Here:

Typically, the Nigerians will bribe the customs officials when you arrive so that you do not have to pass through Customs. This is a huge mistake, for then you are a foreigner in Nigeria without a passport -- a very serious offense.

Now that did make me laugh!

Don't shoot the messenger. Catalpa is stating some facts. Typical of the usual pc brigade who attacks people for saying things (the truth) that they don't want to hear. I can tell you that the Nigerians along with the roma gypsies have the worst reputations of all the immigrants in this country. Thats not Catapla's fault.

It's also interesting to know that these people are sending money home. I was under the impression that they couldn't afford it.

Catalpa has not stated any facts on this thread, other than citing an article in a paper. He was invited to discuss the issues raised, and he declined to do so. By his own admission, the title he gave to this thread is not accurate. So don't try and paint Catalpa as some sort of messenger of truth. He certainly isn't.

Basically my point is that clean your act first before you divert a topic to the nigerians, but i will remind you that, all we have to do is to get rid of the nigerians through mass deportations of all of them from our great celtic tiger country then the rest of the people in the island of island could then live in peace.

The thread is about foreign workers. Why wouldn't employed Africans be able to afford it?
