This is different now. In 2016, some proportion of people voted for Varadkar et al on the basis that they were pro-life. It's only a few years since he re-iterated his pro-life stance.

There was no place for Renua, given this. ~50% of main party voters have since been abandoned on this issue.

If you are a no voter and you sit back and watch then you are a coward and a hypocrite.
I voted No because I thought the proposal went too far.

You ssem to now hope that people will act like terrorists and shoot up clinics like has happened in America, I accept the democratic will of the people, it's what people voted for. Clowns posting dopey threads like this one have little to offer.

Renua lost their founding leader in GE 2016 thanks to FG backing of pro-abort KOC. It ended there for them really. SF have the local pro-life vote in Offaly locked in with Carol Nolan. Renua "leader by default" Offaly County Councillor John Leahy did not seem to make any major impact in the referendum debate. Perhaps he was closed out. It will be hard for him to defeat Carol Nolan in the next GE.

The No TDs should leave FF, on a point of principle, though I see the back-sliding has begun.

Anne Rabbitte FF TD was caught in the headlights of a question from Brian Dobson and said that while she voted No, she didn't campaign for No.

What conservative US money are you referring to? More twisted lies. American Chuck "Sinn Fein" Feeney singlehandedly bankrolled both the SSM and repeal referendums.

What we now know from the fake marriage referendum and the baby killing referendum is that there is a rock solid vote of approximately 35% of the electorate who have zero representation in Government.

Its Justin Barrett's for the taking if he can mobilise his National Party sufficiently now.

Typical twisted logic. On the contrary they should stay on principle. They comprise the majority of their party and should work to replace their leader who caused the current division that exists in the party.

If you are a no voter and you sit back and watch then you are a coward and a hypocrite.
And if you are a Yes voter or campaigner like Varadkar, McDonald and Martin you are a massive hypocrite to go creeping around the Pope on his visit.
