"Boyo" counts as racist abuse: PC agenda gone mad?

Danny Meikle, a Labour councillor in Lanarkshire, central Scotland, was convicted by Lanark Sheriff Court of acting in a racially aggravated manner by repeatedly addressing Welshman Tecwyn Thomas as "Boyo".

Meikle said in evidence that he used the word "boyo" all the time and denied that it was racist.

Yet more evidence of the despicable lows reached by the New Labour PC agenda. And this follows on from proposals recently that the laws on religious hatred should be extended, such that everyone would have to be nice and tolerant to devil worshippers!

With the Equality Authority in full swing, how long before this nonsense creeps in here?
"The IRA Army Council have a history of telling the truth. If they say they didn't do it, then I believe them" - Bertie Ahern, speaking after the murder of Det. Garda Jerry McCabe

Hey, leave those devil worshippers alone. I know a number of them who are quite nice. Even though we don't agree on politics (most of them are in YFG) we are quite polite to each other.

This is madness. What about Cork people? We can't help calling people boy! It's hard enough to not say it to women, let alone men.
