Well, they might if everyone took your "helpful" advice.
    Personally, I'll pass...

Well, if he has to hang on, at least FF will hopefully go down with him, if they allow FG to hang on too long - just like the punishment meted out to the Greens !

Nothing. The 2 merchant princes don't seem to have that killer instinct.
Not a fan of Enda but you have to admire his tenacity in some ways.
Leo and Simon should remove him or go back to doing what the taxpayer is paying them to do and run their Ministries.
Bored of the pair of them at this stage.

simon intends to set up something similar to the former health boards of old, then erease the hse, best of luck to him, all he will achive is having two different organisations running the health service, some amount of p.s workers we will have swinging off the tit of the taxpayers, unaccountable to no one only themselves

The more reports we produce the more HSE managers we need to employ to produce yet more reviews into reports. Eventually HSE DG Tony O'Brien will reach his holy grail and the whole country will be employed by the HSE to produce reports.

Will Kenny have tonight's meeting abridged/adjourned in light of security threats in London, Brexit, Martin Mcguinness, trump, housing crisis, NI instability, inclement weather, and so tonight is not the night to discuss internal FG naval gazing.

People on this site are missing the bleeding obvious.
EK was given a mandate by fg to form the current gov, and dutifully as encumbant taoiseach he stepped up to the plate (unlike mm who made the most cowardly decision in irish political history, by refusing to do the obvious) and is now providing a stable, yes stable, (despite all the "uncertainty" bs) government.
His only commitment was not to lead fg into the next ge, in 2018 as the deal with ff allows.
Therefore it follows that it is his choice when he steps down, and any motion of no confidence in him is likewise a motion of no confidence in his gov.
He may be of the opinion that if he goes so does the gov as he can disolve it in a whim, and this is his leverage.
If lv or sc (god knows why people think these guys have a mandate to remove a sucessful sitting leader/taoiseach) machinate a situation they may have to fight a leadership and general election at the same time. Who wins in that situation, I'm guessing no one.
The obvious solution is to enjoy the media circus/hatred of kenny and let him go AT A TIME OF HIS CHOOSING

    Seems Kenny is going nowhere.
Whatever happened to the rebels calling for his head?

From 'Mighty Mouse to Minnie Mouse' in an instant as a certain Labour politician once said!!!
