I would disagree. Might I suggest that the court was provided with evidence for and against the argument that the defendant had committed the offence with which he was charged and found that he had done so.

This has the hallmarks of the Socialist Party etc looking to influence a jury. If someone from the opposite perspective did the same they would be howling about it.

Its hard enough for the decent people of Jobstown to overcome the stigma of that area but to have the hard left trying to depict them all as looney left.
If this was the case why did the Gardai not attempt to free this "deliberately trapped" Minister? If people can recall the Shell 2 sea protests, the Gardai were very quick to act on any public protest on the Public roads. This whole court case is a Political trial, simple as!

The Jury has already been influenced by the footage and commentory on RTE and other vested media outlets.

How dare the people protest near Queen Joan? Out of the way riff raff! With Gardai as footmen - and smearing whistleblowers is just a small matter, as is using your Garda contacts to smear political opponents, but just you dare raise your voice or move your prole body near the royal carriage...
Now here is someone talking some sense at last.

Quite correct. Well said that person.
