A bit more effort would be nice when thinking of a topic!

    Rubbish

In a perfect corruption-free economy, everybody would have the job that they are best suited to, and every job would be filled by the best-suited person. Of course it is impossible to arrive at this situation, but every country is somewhere on the spectrum from total corruption to zero corruption.

Taking the corruption-free model, every step away from it means another job given to an incompetent, or at least someone who is less than the best fit; it is another person wasting their talents in a job that doesn't use them to the best.

Corruption doesn't oil the wheels, it jams the system with dolts in the wrong job, and bad projects whose promoters had more pull than the people with good ideas.

John B Keane said the history of Ireland is written on every public door in the nation. And that is the word "PULL".

Now you dont think that if i was in college they would have the neck to ask me the question i am asking yous.

The problem i see it is, that if you come down too hard on corruption, how are you going to get planning permission for that house, or how are you going to sell those goods to teh country. you see what i mean. it gets around the big boys.

The problem is that if you need corruption, the system isn't working.
