Hard for some to take up positions due to the benefits they have on welfare.

What's that got to do with me asking how many jobs are likely to be found for the unemployed?

Because, even if they find a million jobs, there will be people who won't take them up.

So you say, but we never get to hear just how many, and it's still nothing to do with the point I made..

Lots of jobs out there. Unemployment is falling and with the way the economy is growing it should continue to do so.

Good, so they'll have no problem finding jobs for those on this new scheme then especially as the Dept of Social Protection has 6,371 jobs listed and there are a mere 192,400 people unemployed. That's one job per 30 people looking.

Edit: BTW, those 6371 positions listed include pretend scheme based jobs.

Looking like we'll hit full employment by 2018. That said there will still be those who won't work, our friend mad had already admitted on another thread that he's turning down work cos he's better off not doing it...
