    Water protest? Hostage situation?

    Tánaiste
Tánaiste’s car blocked by water charge protesters in Tallaght
    So this is now OK?
The last time I checked this type of behaviour was illegal and unacceptable or have I missed something?

This is the new paradigm introduced by the Shinners and the hard left.
Only their voice matters and only their way can be allowed to prevail.
    Democracy means nothing anymore.
The howling mob must be appeased at any cost.

Yes. Its ok as long as no-one gets hurt. Protestors make their point and everyone goes home in the end.

If blocking one car is illegal and unacceptable here on this little rock of ours then what say you on the Ukranian protests or the Arab Spring (to name but two protest movements)?

Obstructing someone in their lawful business is an offence and an investigation should be proceeded with.

Jesus died to save the like of JB the inconvenience of sitting in a BMW for a couple of hours.

P.S. With your fancy "internet access" would you please take the trouble to look up the meaning of the word 'hostage'?

    Redefining "Peaceful"

"However, Irish Socialist Party TD Paul Murphy, said the protest, which began shortly before Ms Burton attended the ceremony at noon, had been peaceful."
This is a taste of the Trotskyist utopia no doubt!
Paul Murphy, having been elected to represent the people might consider adopting a leadership role rather than that of an apologist but is suppose that is too much to expect.
I can only assume that this mob enjoy the self indulgence of discrediting their argument with their actions.
