Did anyone see the front page of this morning's Irish Independent.

It showed a picture of Hans Riedo, the father of 17-year-old Manuela Riedo, who was brutally murdered in Galway last week.

This was AFTER Manuela's parents specifically requested that the Irish and Swiss media not photograph them at the church or funeral. This is an invasion of their rights.

Not for the first time, the Irish Independent has invaded a family's private grief, for what, the sale of a few extra thousand copies.

Shame on the Independent and shame on Tony O'Reilly. Would the Irish Independent picture a photo of Tony O'Reilly or one of his friends if they lost a loved one and were requested by the family not to do so?
