Sounds all a bit too "RTE1, Tuesday nights" for my liking... I'm sure the Fair City rejects will be doing a cameo as usual!

Wouldnt be suprised if Boru was dipicted as having a posh heroic English accent.
So when are these so called intellectuals going to make their mind up???

DiCaprio, 32, has been in negotiations for the past six months and a decision on the contract is expected this week.
so let me get this right its been announced he is to star in the movie and then in almost the next sentence it says no decision has been made yet.

don't you mean "may star in"

OK then, just to be politically correct, Leo "may" star....

But i think its confirmed now.
Now, confirming DiCaprio's involvement is a press release from Limerick.com, which states the two actors will be joining Irish filmmaker Mark Mahon in the village of Tuamgraney, i
I didnt realise Vinnie Jones will be in this film too, hes filming in Derry at the moment i believe for another film.

Helen Mirren should be cast as Gormfhlaith.

The other films sound interesting, however i couldnt imagine leonardo playing an irish high king.
    Any resemblance??

Since when did Brian Boru look like an angry biker with a handlebar moustache?
