As an earlier poster mentioned, with regards to the photos, the US certainly learned from previous experience. He's dead. If he isn't, why wait 10 years before lying? And about the SEAL operator in question...I'm sure he can find employment in the private security industry if he tries.

Why did he leave the service?He gave the interview only after leaving the service after 16 years, without a pension or healthcare.
Why is he not receiving Veterans' Administration benefits?
Surely, a person who has been in the armed forces for that length of time would be entitled to a small pension.
