Dear Muslim readers, Can you help me please? I don't want to insult the prophet and I'd like some guidance as to how much I can say before a muslim would take offence.
(1) Can I support gay rights?
(2) Can I condemn female genital mutilation?
(3) Can I condemn men marrying children?
(4) Can I say there is no God?
So far I have not mentioned Muhammad or Islam at all, so presumably we're ok so far.
(5) Can I raise the subject of Aisha, who was married to Muhammad at the age of 6 or 7? Or that this marriage was consummated when she was 9?

You are just an infidel and your existence as an unbeliever is against Allah.

You cannot reason with that.

Even if the non-Muslims found a way to marry western ideals with the above rules, the mad mullahs would simply come out with more and more exclusions.

I believe western countries entering into debates about how far to go in terms of accommodating this tradition is lunacy and exactly what these neanderthals want - then it is the slippery slope downwards. Our vegetarian, hemp sandalled, socialist peace corps would have you believe we can play happy families, but don't be fooled.

Not an inch should be given and if they don't like our culture then they should shag off home.

If you are living in fear of offending others, and have to go to ridiculous lengths to live within those fears, then you have already lost your personal freedom.

Not to defend Muslim outrage but you can find these examples in Christian and other religons too.

Not likely to see embassy burnings, car bombs and be-headings from Christian groups. "The Elders" generally advise on the churches position and the individual chooses his/her position...................very different scenario to Muslims.

Any further defence will put you in my "nut roast for lunch" category.
