    School children to be finger-printed.

Schools in Britain have been given the all clear to finger print children as young as five, without asking permission from their parents first.

Should Ireland follow their lead and begin finger-printing school-going children in this country?

    sure why not..

    I'd go further..

How about a bar-code on their arms, with an identification number.. or.. now that we've moved into the modern technological society.. a microchip discreetly fitted under their skin

we can also while we are at it, take a DNA sample, and test for all kinds of things .. say the "gay gene" and have them sterilised.. or possibly test their potential proneness to disease or illnesses, and then apportion different types of occupation to each child.. would be a lot less messier than having the poor dears fret over the points system for their leaving cert

oh so many possibilities.. so many

yeah. Lets do microchips. Sounds good for me. And let's tatoo numbers on them, maybe a barcode, and shave their heads. Then every time a child is lost a police can zap them with a barcode machine and no where they are from.

No freedom of speech, curtailed right to protest, detention with out trial does not equal democracy.
