    To Hell with the British

Why in the world should Irish people care when London is bombed by the Islamic movement? What have these bastards ever done for Ireland except to cause it centuries of grief.

The only good thing is that they may have to transfer some of their filthy occupational troops(the Trevors)from the northern counties back to their own country now that the chickens have come home to roost vis-a-vis the Iraqi debacle.

Piss on them. They are no friends of the Irish people and they never have been.

The fact that one irish person may have been killed in the bombing and that you're a complete psycho wouldnt dissuade you from your comments?
Ireland interests are best secured within a more dynamic EU. Vote YES to Lisbon.

Ireland is a nation of historic immigration from pre-historic tribes, through the Celts, the Normans, Planters and modern non-nationals. We have a long shared history with Britain and given the number of fatalities, it is likely that some Irish or generations removed Irish are among the dead. Your attitudes are the kind that ensured that terrorists continued to receive the funding to maim and kill here when most resident Irish only wanted to get on. Take your shamrock shoulder-chip elsewhere Shanachie, it's starting to wear thin here.

It's because of dupes like you that six counties of the Island are still being held captive.

    Have you no shame?

I didn't know the working-class Britons murdered in the bombing had occupied the Six Counties and caused centuries of grief.

Not really. I'd rather we all got along, and unfortunately nation states and the lack of self-esteem in many areas gets in the way. There are bigger 21st century problems than a corner of this island.

    Well, now you know.

The government of a country reflects the policies of the people they govern. If the working class people didn't want the occupation of a portion of Ireland, it would not be in place at the present time. They've listened to scum like Paisley for over thirty years and accepted his evil views.

    It's as simple as that.

Or the rest of the island facilitating troop transfers. A rare case of cross-border partnership.

I really doubt that any potential national question vexes any great proportion of the population of the republic, and increasing numbers of northern Catholics are supporting the union (in their own economic interest) so why not leave them to it. It's not as if any one is looking for the return of farmland or a right to their religion. Circumstances have moved on, and only the disadvantaged on both sides of the divide seem to still act in numbers on the streets in support of their view.
