    Q&A July 9th, 2007

    On Questions and Answers tonight:

    Dermot Ahern
    Pat Rabbitte,
    John Mooney,
    Catherine Ghent
    Eddie Hobbs

Hobbs will, I'm sure, be his insufferable self.

    good line up

No doubt Pat or John will ask Dermot about Briam Cowen being annointed as the next leader.

Well, there are the Seanad elections for the next 2 weeks at least.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

It's a personal bugbear of mine I know but the lineup last night hit it again. We get two politicians, one pro-government one anti- government (because you know how every issues has just the two side to it) and then people from the law or the media and general punditry.

How come we never get to see someone from a science or engineering background on unless there is an incredibly specific issue that is topical, but they throw on repeatedly the same folks from the media and the law.

I thought the bloke from the Sunday Times was quite poor.
