    The Right to March?

On Liveline today the people of Sallins asked that RSF, PSF and various other Republican organisations stop marching in their town as it causes the town's businesses to be closed for four consecutive Sundays in June and generally disrupts their lives. Isn't it somewhat ironic that these various groups who demand the right to march in Sallins against the wishes of local residents also seek to deny the same right to march to other groups in NI.
    Average expenses per TD in 2011:- FG €36,412, Lab €28,756, FF €45,219, SF €44,413, SP €23,654, PBP €31,866, WUAG €49,911, IND €37,805, CC €13,112.

And why do the businesses need to close?

There must be a million orange marches that close off towns all year.
In lurgan they paraded on St.Pats day, closed the entire town off and lost the shop keepers a fortune, it was also the day before mothers day.
They do this all the time.
I dont think town centres should be used for any marches, but its hypocritical to prevent the very few republican ones and let thousands of orange ones go ahead.
Abstinence makes the Church grow fondlers.

Yes, another load of sh!te. Could it be the Sallins Orange Lodge that has to close? What fcecin businesses open on a Sunday in a small country town other than pubs as you say? Bloody heathens if they do anyway.
