I note that Sinn Féin will oppose this new attempt to parade the Butcher's Apron past the GPO:

They should oppose it, a load of bigots waving pictures of a dublin bomber and yapping on about war and death.
How does this help anyone?
If they want to protest why bring union jacks, bowler hats and war drums?
The love ulster parade is there to keep the divisions in ireland alive, they want to be attacked so the unionists politicians have a few years of ammo against the ROI and an excuse for their bigotry and scaremongering.
Everyone should oppose it, preventing the march will do little damage, marches get banned all the time theyre used to it.
Letting the march go ahead will not be good for north-south relations or help anyone exept those who want sectarian divides.
Abstinence makes the Church grow fondlers.
"An attempt to normalise British rule in Ireland"

Dingbat!
That's complete nonsense. I disagree with you.
I hope the Garda will succeed the second time round in preserving public order.
Moreover I hope that a genuine Orange parade - organized by the Dublin and Wicklow LOL, not a dubious group from across the border - will be next. That one I hope to attend.
(Let the flames begin).
And in the true spirit of peace and reconciliation, should such a march to commemorate the Protestant victims of the troubles get the go-ahead, thugs with the mobile phone numbers of other thugs are hereby invited to meet up with thugs bussed in from Northern Ireland, in pubs in and around Sackville Street from where a spontaneous riot will be organised....
**** Buy Irish!!!! ****
The love ulster parade is basically saying "Look what your catholic IRA men done up north".
Abstinence makes the Church grow fondlers.
They might, their boss at the time, Paris McDole almost wet himself at the prospect of seeing not only the butchers apron on O'Connell Street but more importantly at the prospect of being able to have a go at Sinn Fein for his mistake of allowing a bunch of Nazi's to march in Dublin.Originally Posted by MichaelR

The Government should show these Nazi's that there is no place in Ireland for sectarian marches.

The one thing I don't understand is why, if this parade is to commemorate IRA victims, it is North only.Originally Posted by st333ve
Does anyone have a link to *their* forum? Asking this question here is probably a waste of time.
