Was anyone at the Republican Unity Commemoration?

Was anyone at the Republican Unity Commemoration in Bodenstown yesterday, by all accounts a great day and a large crowd. Speakers from the 32CSM, IRSP and Concerned Republicans. Hopefully this is the start of more cooperation.

The single transferable crowd, much evident at the anti SF meetings (sorry policing discussion meetings) that failed so miserably at the Assembly elections.

Pat i wouldn't go on too much about miserable election failures if i was you. Anyway i am glad republicans turned out to support this initiative, hopefully someone can post pics. I for one was at some anti RUC meetings and i am not anti PSF, i just am anti the path they have went down, i was a member for years how could i be anti them. Did i cease to be a republican when i disagreed with their stance vis a vis National Sovereignty?

No Ciaran you did not. However many of those who use your avatar spend more time attacking fellow republicans on this site than the pro-partionist parties and that gets a bit weary.
Becasue Sinn Fein use a different approach to acheiving their aims than you does not make them 'traitors'.

    Ciaran,

it is a question of scale and expectation. Micro groups, micro ambition. Win the battle of the website instead of the battle on the streets.

To win a battle you must at least be willing to fight

Yes, I was there and had a very pleasant day out. However, was a bit disappointed that the event passed without violence. Expected at the very least some fisticuffs.
