This Empire is determined to set the nations of the world against each other in a course of chaos modelled on the British manipulated Seven Years War. The immediate moves could be in Syria or could be in any number of other red hot spots that are being set up as fuses. There was so much opposition to the Iran option that they have temporarily backed off on that, but now are trying the same tricks on Syria including ultimata this weekend.

In the following statement LaRouche emphasizes- don't get bogged down in the moves on the chessboard. Surprise, outflank and defeat the chess master.

No matter how easy it could be to fire a missile into an Iranian WMD base it would never be done because that in itself is an act of war and would bring about all the consequences that the international community is attempting to avoid

LaRouchepac reports that there are Anglo-American-NATO forces playing that horrible, now nuclear, great game, not only targetting Iran, but switching in the last days to Syria.-
According to high-level Russian diplomatic circles, the deployment of three Russian Navy ships to the waters off the coast of Syria is intended as a war-avoidance deployment. Efforts to convey Russian concerns about a pending military attack on Syria to overthrow the Assad government have fallen on deaf ears both in Washington and at NATO headquarters in Brussels. So, the Russian government decided that they would send Russian ships into harm's way, betting that saner heads in Washington will not want to risk starting a strategic confrontation with Russia, that would almost guarantee a thermonuclear World War III.

Israel is not, has not, nor has it ever been a threat all they seek is to defend themselves against threats to itself [Israel] which are as prevalent as they come. If the threats stopped tomorrow Israel would stop their efforts against said threats.

I don't believe that Rebellin is exaggerating the situation here. There is sure to be a NATO supported attack on Syria because they have a 15000 army ready in Turkey. If Libya could hold out for months with a fractured population of 5 million, then we can expect a need for a serious ground force here. I doubt Israel will escape 20000 missiles so the big war will be on

    Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov
called Tuesday for an end to using ultimata with Syria. Speaking
during a press conference, at the conclusion of his discussions
with Iceland's Foreign Minister Ossur Skarphedinsson in Moscow
today, Lavrov said "It is important now to stop using ultimata
with Syria, as the Syrian issue can't be solved through the
ultimata resorted to by some countries, including the members of
    the Arab League (AL).
"We hope that our friends at the AL, with whom we have
strategic relations, will adhere to the rules of the AL in order
to take the suitable decisions and that they will shoulder
responsibility towards what is taking place in their region and
will take into consideration the interests of their people and
the interests of the stability, security and cooperation."
Lavrov also said that an arms embargo against the government
was unfair, stressing that armed groups were attacking the Syrian
government with support from the outside. "We know how that
worked in Libya when the arms embargo only applied to the Libyan
army. The opposition received weapons, and countries like France
and Qatar publicly spoke about it without shame," he said. "For
the most part, armed groups are provoking the authorities. To
expect the authorities to close their eyes to this is not right.
All the countries who have an influence on these groups in Syria
should exert more efforts to force them to stop violence."

Meir Dagan, former Mossad chief declared that a strike on Iran will lead to regional war
moveover he is working with a group which will intervene into Israeli politics

In an interview on Israeli television in Tuesday he added that such an attack regional war
where Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas will respond with massive rocket attacks on Israel adding
that even Syria would possibly join in.

Dagan also said that the Prime Minister, Defense Minister and Finance Minister cannot
prevent him from speaking his mind. “We are not living in an undemocratic country; in
democratic countries, even people like me have the right to express their opinions,” Dagan
    said.

Dagan added that such a war would take a heavy toll in terms of loss of life and would
paralyze life in Israel. These comments were in response to a recent remark by Defense
Minister Ehud Barak, in which he claimed that if a war breaks out between Israel and Iran, it
would result in no more than 500 dead Israelis.

"A war is no picnic, but in any scenario there won't be 50 thousand or 5,000 or even 500
dead,” Barak told Israel Radio in an interview three weeks ago, on November 8. Barak
also attacked Dagan’s outspokenness on the Iran issue. “The way in which this discussion
has taken place, by including those who previously held high positions, was sometimes
despicable.” Barak added, “When the head of the Mossad unprecedentedly brings journalists
to Mossad headquarters and instructs them to oppose the prime minister… I think that is very
serious behavior. I would have expected him to act intelligently, without manipulations."

It was announced earlier on Tuesday that Dagan will lead a group that will endeavor to
immediately alter the system of government in Israel. Maariv reported Tuesday that the group
is operating without much publicity, backed by a group of leaders in the fields of business,
culture and law that has already begun to raise funds. Former IDF Chief of Staff Amnon
Lipkin-Shahak, who several years ago was one of the initiator of the Geneva peace initiative
launched by Yossi Beilin, businessman Gad Zeevi and Herliya Interdisciplinary Center
President Professor Uriel Reichman have already joined the new group Ha'aretz [dea]

Em I don't really think Israel is being threatened by anyone. The majority of conflicts in the middle-east are internal (at the moment). Israel does itself no favours by essentially colonizing land.

Dagan is breaking out of the Netantyahu drive toward war. You have a number of top retired intelligence and military Israeli figures who have been challenging the government on its bellicose threats. This is very unusual . You are right, Israel is NOT being threatened by anyone, but this is the excuse they have used in every aggressive move they have made.
